Game: Castlevania
RetroArch: RetroArch Xtreme 1.8.4
Core: Ludicrous Xtreme (2K22)
SD or HD: Best played in HD
4:3 Resolution: 640 x 480
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Xtreme TurboBoost: X1
Xtreme OverClock: X1
Audio Latency: 64
--------------------------------
Plays really well in the "HD" mode does this one, benefits from the sharper more detailed gfx of the mode and best of all even though it's using "Xtreme TurboBoost" (frame-skipping) to eliminate any audio breakup & gfx slowdowns then it doesn't detract from the smoothness of the gameplay... :-)
Only issue I've found in this game is on the very first menu screen as you will see in the video, instead of the highlight bar being transparent to allow the text to show through when it's over the top of a selected menu item it is in fact completely black. This only happens the first time you load up/ run the game after that the next time you go to the menu screen the highlight bar will be transparent as it should be (couldn't find a way to fix this issue though)...
