Game: A Bugs Life

RetroArch: RetroArch Xtreme 1.8.4

Core: Ludicrous Xtreme (2K21)

SD or HD: Best played in SD

4:3 Resolution: 320 x 240

Aspect Ratio: 4:3

Xtreme TurboBoost: 0

Xtreme OverClock: X2

--------------------------------

For the smoothest gameplay with virtually no audio breakup or gfx slowdowns during the game then this one is best played in "SD" mode (Standard Definition ie: 320 x 240 pixels)...

If you play it in "HD" mode (640 x 480 pixels) then you will have to set "Xtreme TurboBoost" to at least "X2" to ensure there is little to no audio breakup during the game. With XtremeTurboBoost there does come some issues during gameplay such as when you get hit by an enemy then instead of your character flickering/ being semi transparent for a second or two so you can see where your character is and get out of the way before being hit again, your character will instead disappear completely and you tend to find yourself either running straight into the enemy and being hit again or running into something else that you didn't mean to. This issue will occur in many games (but not all) if you set "Xtreme TurboBoost" to anything other than zero and is simply down to the way this flickering/ semi transparent effect is coded into most games and "TurboBoost" can effect that causing this "invisibility" effect to happen. I'll simply call it the "invisibility issue" from now on)...
